Lovers of luxury cars are eagerly anticipating the launch of new models from some of the world’s leading manufacturers this year. Motoring experts at Absolute Reg have named their five of the most highly anticipated models due to be released this year.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class will use recycled materials to create an eco-conscious and luxurious driving experience with a 375 horsepower in the E450 model.

This year will see the launch of Acura’s first electric vehicle – the ZDX which comes in two grades – the A-spec and Type S.

The Lamborghini Revuelto is one of the most highly anticipated cars of the year and with 1001 horsepower, the hybrid model will boost the supercar driving experience.

Here are the five luxury car launches to watch out for this year:

  1. Acura ZDX

Acura’s first electric vehicle is set to launch this year, and will come in two grades – the A-spec and Type S. The latter has 500 horsepower thanks to its two electric motors, as well as all wheel drive and 22 inch wheels. The A-spec has 340 horsepower and an estimated driving range of 325 miles.

  1. Mercedes-Benz E-Class

This hybrid car uses recycled materials to give a luxurious, eco-conscious driving experience. The E350 model combines the electric motor with a 2.0 liter engine giving the car 225 horsepower. And the same hybrid system but with a 3.0 liter engine boost the horsepower up to 375 in the E450 model.

  1. Rolls-Royce Spectre

The release of the Spectre car in 2024 will be the first electric vehicle from Rolls-Royce to hit the market. Its dual-motor electric power gives a total of 577 horsepower with 664-lb-ft of torque, and an expected charge range of 291 miles. The Spectre will combine ultra-luxury with quiet cruising and the classic sleek look Rolls-Royce is synonymous with.

  1. Lamborghini Revuelto

Three high-density electric motors and a dual clutch e-gearbox combined with a 12-cylinder internal combustion engine giving it 1001 horsepower, makes the new Lamborghini Revuelto one of the most highly anticipated electric cars. The plug-in hybrid is new for the brand, and the scissor doors with a wedge shaped body boost the supercar driving experience.

  1. Porsche Macan SUV

Porsche’s second electric car is to launch in 2024, with ultra-fast charging ability and two motors giving the car 603 horsepower. The 100kWp battery should give the Macan at least 310 miles of range, and the 12.6 inch free-standing display gives Porche drivers the latest technology and new features with sports car characteristics in the new body.
