Attending the Fleet Summit for the first time as a media partner was a truly eye-opening experience. Held on 13th–14th November 2024 at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre London Heathrow, the event exceeded my expectations with its structured format, focused environment, and exceptional organisation.
At first, I was intrigued about the event format, which is very unique. Would the pre-scheduled meetings really lead to meaningful conversations? Could this intimate setting match the energy and engagement of larger trade shows? By the end of the two days, it was evident to me that the Fleet Summit did provide a unique and invaluable experience for both suppliers and decision-makers in the fleet industry.
What Was the Fleet Summit Format?
The Fleet Summit was designed to create a highly effective environment for decision-makers and suppliers in the fleet industry to connect, collaborate, and learn in a focused, no-nonsense setting.
Pre-Event Preparation – Before the event, buyers were asked to submit details about their fleet challenges, specific requirements, and areas of interest. This ensured that the event organisers could match them with relevant suppliers and seminars tailored to their needs. By gathering this information in advance, the event maximised productivity for all attendees.

The second day began with breakfast from 07:30 to 08:45, giving attendees a chance to regroup with fellow participants before the start of another busy day. The morning sessions featured additional seminars and more face-to-face meetings with suppliers, continuing the productive discussions from Day 1.
The event concluded with a final networking buffet lunch from 13:00 to 14:00, providing one last opportunity for attendees to engage with peers and suppliers before wrapping up the event.
This schedule enabled the event to provide a balance between pre-arranged meetings, valuable seminars, and plenty of networking opportunities in a well-planned, relaxed environment.

The Fleet Summit offers something truly special: a focused, relaxed, and highly effective environment for fleet professionals to connect, learn, and grow. As a first-time attendee, I was impressed by the meticulous organisation, the personalised approach, and the quality of interactions.
As part of the event’s engaging atmosphere, Ground Transport Group also ran our sweetie jar competition. Attendees were invited to guess how many sweets were in the jar. There was a £250 cash prize for guessing the correct amount, alongside the closest guess winning a £100 prize.
