My career of 42 years, so far has taken me though the transport industry from Military Service, Express Delivery, Haulage and Warehousing companies as well as academia and industry mentoring. Currently, Visiting Professor for Express Management at Univ of West London alongside the post of, CEO of the Institute of Couriers and working with DfT and regional transport boards supporting diversity and inclusion within the sector. My role within the Institute of Couriers involves facilitating conducive dialogue between all sector stakeholders. Primarily working to support the Trailblazer apprenticeships for L2 Express Delivery, and L2 Sortation operative and the launch of the L6 Express Manager BSc degree course.

James Deville – Sales Director – Curtis Gabriel

James Deville is the Sales Director at Curtis Gabriel. An accomplished sales professional, with over 23 years of sales management experience in the Ground Transportation Sector. He takes pride in using his skills and knowledge, to contribute to the exciting and rapid worldwide growth at Curtis Gabriel in Social Media and Digital Marketing, for the Ground Transportation Sector. Some of the key focuses for James and Curtis Gabriel are Customer Acquisition, Community Engagement, App Downloads and Driver Recruitment.

Gary Jacobs – CEO – Eazitax

Gary Jacobs is the CEO and founder of Eazitax. He has grown the company to be the leading ground transport accountancy firm in the UK.  Gary has been called ‘The industry’s financial and status guru’ and is regularly called upon by industry publications and experts to advise on important issues such as Operator VAT, Tax Checks (Conditionality) and Driver status.   He’s a rescue dog guy and collects superhero figurines and turn-of-the-century reference books in his spare time.
