Hello and welcome to your latest edition of the Zapmap business newsletter. This is where we shine a light each month on the latest statistics, insights and key updates from the EV charging industry and beyond.

We’re excited to have joined forces with Cenex to help local authorities access information on EV charge points. And in The Charge, we’re exploring the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure funding and what it means for drivers without off-street parking.

Zapmap and Cenex join forces to ‘arm local authorities’ with location data

Non-profit research and technology consultancy Cenex has joined forces with Zapmap to help local authorities access information on EV charge points.

Since Cenex’s National EV Insight & Support service launched a year ago, nearly 300 organisations have registered to access reliable, independent, up-to-date information about electric vehicles and charge point infrastructure.

The Charge – from Zapmap Insights

Welcome to your latest edition of The Charge, a discursive dive into all things EV charging.

An influential Transport Focus survey is now live on the Zapmap app

We’re working with independent watchdog Transport Focus on an influential survey that examines what it’s like to use public charging points for electric vehicles.

As the independent voice of those who use England’s motorways and major A roads, Transport Focus puts the interests of transport users first and aims to get the best deal for road users.

In this instance, Transport Focus is looking to hear about the experiences of EV drivers when charging their vehicle near services on motorways or major A roads.

The survey results will inform the organisation’s work with the government, charge point operators and others to improve the consumer experience of charging an EV.
