The REA is the largest renewable energy and clean technology trade association in the country with around 500 member companies.
We represent around 11 different technology areas ranging from electric vehicle infrastructure, to solar and battery storage, wind, decentralised energy solutions including heat pumps and biomass heat, to bio energy, composting and green gas.
Our EV infrastructure forum (REcharge UK) has a significant focus on fleet electrification with a working group consisting of around 30 members companies including CPOs, chargepoint manufacturers, local authorities, fleet operators, EMSPs, expert consultants, insurers, and green finance. More broadly REcharge UK also represents other key stakeholders including green legal teams, ensuring our members can be connected to the most reevant services to them. REcharge UK is the largest EV infrastructure forum in the country.
Our EV infrastructure focus is very broad, ranging from all forms of public charging, to cross pavement solutions and residential charging including driveway and depot sharing options, allowing us to connect fleet operators and drivers with the most relevant solution provider for them.
More generally the REA's focus is on ensuring the fastest possible deployment of green energy solutions, ensuring that the energy going in to suppling EVs, heat pumps etc is 100% renewable.
